Formed in Middleton, Manchester, incorporating slow-speed blending & triple roll milling of Pigment Dispersions creating fast access to Colour Paste as it’s USP.
Relocated to a new bespoke factory on Crawford Street, Rochdale and the development of our “Pioneers In Service” concept is up & running.
Significant investment into new triple roll mills & shear mixers resulting in improved processing & increased capacity.
Customers drive product range expansion & investment commences into the Company’s first single-vessel ATEX rated high-speed Gelcoat mixer.
First Gelcoat developed internally & brought to market with great anticipation, signifying a change in direction for the business.
Major investment deal agreed into a raised platform multi-vessel vacuum ATEX high-speed mixer as the business grows it’s Gelcoat market share.

His knowledge of process engineering efficiency has left Colorplas in a powerful position enabling the business to move forward as the “Pioneers in Service” animal Nick helped to create.
